I usually try to keep things polite here, but I am so stunned by this I have no better way to say it.
Right now my brain is oscillating between ‘oh wow’ and ‘holy shit this is awesome’.
It is still in trial, but they may have a way to treat burn victims so they largely recover in days, rather than dying due to complications and infection after weeks of trying to painfully recover.
From the description of his burns, standard treatment could take weeks and it would be difficult. He took part in experimental treatment and was considered more or less fully recovered within days.
